Financial Information

For your convenience and peace of mind, we want to make paying for your oral surgery in Salt Lake City as easy as possible. We accept several different forms of payment, including private insurance, and can also help you find ways to pay for the procedure if you do not have insurance.

Payment Information

We can accept cash and all major credit cards as payment for your procedure at our offices, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Some dental procedures are also eligible expenses under a flex spending account (also called FSA or cafeteria plan). Covered expenses generally include surgery or procedures to improve the health and function of your teeth, gums, or jaw. Cosmetic procedures are not eligible expenses under flex spending account laws. It’s important to review all the rules and regulations governing FSAs to ensure that the procedure is covered before you arrive.

Insurance

We accept private insurance for oral surgery or wisdom teeth removal in Ogden, or other procedures at the offices of Dr. Greg Roberts. If you currently have private insurance, please bring your insurance card and any additional information about your benefits to your first appointment. We can help you review what your policy will cover and discuss any additional costs that might not be covered under your insurance policy. We can also bill your insurance directly and work with them to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures to save you time and hassle.

It is also a good idea to contact your insurance provider in advance of scheduling your appointment to get a basic understanding of what is covered under your policy. While they may not be able to specifically discuss costs in detail, they can help you understand which types of procedures are eligible under your plan.

Patients who have medical insurance and not dental insurance may want to consult their health plan to find out if any of the costs are covered under that policy. Health insurance may provide some coverage for medically necessary procedures; elective or cosmetic dental procedures are generally not covered under health insurance policies.

During your treatment we ask that you please keep us informed of any changes in your insurance coverage. Also please note that regardless of what insurance coverage you have, you will be fully responsible to pay for any additional fees or charges that are not covered under your plan.

Financing and Payment Plans

We also have options to help you pay for your oral surgery in situations where your insurance does not cover the entire cost, or if you have no insurance and are paying for the procedure out of pocket. Please inform us when you arrive that you do not have insurance and you are interested in discussing payment options or financing options. We want to make our Utah oral surgery procedures affordable to everyone, and will try to work with you as much as possible.
